Popes update
A while back I posted something about the Popes EP. Because of that, I just found out that 3 of The original Popes are now playing in a band called The Public Good. They've got a show this Thursday (March 1) at the Grog & Tankard in Washington, DC. I wish I could be there. I wonder if they'll play any old Popes songs?

They rocked. The place is kind of a dive (I try not to drink in any other kind of establishment), and the crowd there didn't really know what hit them ... I gather the regulars there are used to seeing 20-year olds doing Spin Doctors covers. The Public Good peeled the skin back on their faces.

Are they planning any more shows?
Just got word from John that the Grog & Tankard liked The Public Good so much, they now are headlining on St Pat's Day.
